Brief Insight of Inumimonte

I bring an interdisciplinary foundation in epidemiology and statistics, combining rigorous quantitative methods with applied public health practice. I hold a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of Port Harcourt and a Master’s degree in Statistics from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education. This dual training enables me to integrate analytical depth with health systems thinking.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) and am progressing toward professional certification through the National Board of Public Health Examiners. My work is guided by a commitment to evidence-based decision-making, ethical data use, and practical impact in complex health environments.

Professional Profile

I am a public health researcher, epidemiologist, and data intelligence specialist with over a decade of experience supporting governments, development partners, and health systems across Africa. My work focuses on the design of disease surveillance systems, automated analytics platforms, and routine health information systems that improve decision-making and population health outcomes.

I have led and contributed to projects spanning epidemiology, monitoring and evaluation, digital health, and advanced analytics, working extensively within Nigeria and across the African region. Through my work with Pathologists Overseas and other partners, I have supported program design, implementation monitoring, and performance improvement initiatives.

I have designed and deployed practical tools including surveillance dashboards, nutrition intelligence systems, and integrated Annual Operational Planning and budgeting tools for subnational governments. My core strength lies in translating complex data into actionable insights that inform policy, improve service delivery, and strengthen health systems.

Based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address challenges in infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and climate-related health risks, with a strong emphasis on equity, system resilience, and sustainability.
